Practices will run until 7:30pm to 7:45pm depending on the workout for that evening.
It is strongly encouraged that your athlete attends at least two of the practices during the week and if you can attend all three – even better. We are offering 3 practices a week in an effort to provide more options based on competing fall sports that your athlete may be involved in – We hope this gives your athlete the ability to attend more practices. Even if your athlete does not plan on competing in any of the cross country meets they are still welcomed and encouraged to attend practices to maintain a strong base coming off of track season or to develop stamina and endurance if they are new to running.
Please share this information with anyone who is interested in joining The Ultimate Speed Academy – Cross Country is the perfect environment for new athletes to get exposure to our program at a comfortable pace. There are no tryouts for XC and we welcome all athletes. Registration information will be given out on the first day of practice at each location.
We will also be sharing information soon regarding organized 5K road races that we will be attending over the next 3 months – your participation in these events is not mandatory. We hope a few can attend so we can proudly represent USA to the broader running community.
Please note: If you have a high school athlete interested in XC, they must have completed their XC season at their high school before they are allowed to compete with a club team.
